“There are only four kinds of people in the world:
Those who have been caregivers.
Those who are currently caregivers.
Those who will be caregivers.
And those who will need a caregiver.”
— Rosalynn Carter
Caring for someone—whether a family member, friend, or in a professional role—can be deeply meaningful… and deeply draining, especially during the holidays when demands intensify. No matter how much love and devotion we bring, caregiving can take a real toll on our own well-being.
This gentle, restorative online class is designed to support you, the caregiver. Treat yourself to an hour and fifteen minutes of calm and renewal through time-tested practices that nurture both body and mind.
You’ll learn simple, evidence-based self-care tools to soothe your nervous system, ease tension, and reconnect with your own center. We’ll explore breathwork and Jin Shin Jyutsu Self-Help—an ancient Japanese, hands-on healing art used today in hospital integrative medicine programs. Non-invasive, soothing, and research-backed, it’s a method you can use anywhere, anytime. These hands-on tools will be infused into a deeply restful Yoga Nidra (guided meditation) session to restore balance and clarity. You’ll receive a recording to use anytime you need a moment of peace. You are invited to explore this practice lying in a recliner or bed, that’s how relaxing it is! Handouts, information and the Meet link will be sent to you prior to class.
This one-time online pop-up welcomes parents, grandparents, babysitters, and professional caregivers alike. If you can’t attend live, register anyway to receive the class recording and handouts.
