As the body rests, or “sleeps” in savasana, we experience a greater sense of clarity, calmness and serenity. Research has shown that Yoga Nidra can improve wellbeing by eliminating stress, inducing a healing response, lowering blood pressure, and alleviating cravings.The Dow Integrative Institute integrates Yoga Nidra with an ancient Japanese healing art, Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ) Self-Help, that harmonizes the body for optimal health. JSJ is like Chinese acupuncture, but without the needles. We use only our hands.
This is an online six-class series that scaffolds in these ancient healing practices for deep rest and restoration. There is a special invite for this series to confidentially share your health needs with Julianne Roshan and learn specific ways to help yourself that will be integrated into the class experience. Each class will be recorded and sent to you afterwards. Handouts will be available.
Personal wellness concerns can be addressed privately, or integrated into the class offering.
